The first thing that struck me was that this place is massive but, whether through good staffing, good luck, good management or a combination of the above, it seems to run very smoothly.
The staff are uber polite and helpful and when a problem occurs they are on it like a venus fly trap. If anything I found the level of attention a little daunting.
The food is well presented and of a reasonably good quality and there is a well stocked bar. On the downside you do pay handsomely for the experience, particularly at the bar.

Authentic Italian cuisine reasonably priced although cocktails are a little on the expensive side. Beautiful decor resembling a 1950s American style Jazz and cabaret bar. If you want to get lost in time this is a great place to visit!!!! Wednesday nights you have an opportunity to be entertained with ongoing live cabaret acts whilst you dine. You can choose from a set menu or the normal menu. Dinner and show averaging £30. I tested the calamari for starters, absolutely wonderful, perfect batter, and opted for chicken breast wrapped in parma ham and mozarella, very tasty ,cooked very well.
Obviously rather stuffed after all of it, but couldnt resist the temptation of chocolate fudge cake, warm may I add. Perfect! I would definately come back here again for all the right reasons. Staff were very attentive, smart and well dressed, and I must mention one of the cleanest and beautiful bathrooms I have ever seen in a restaurant.
Great for parties, romantic couples, kids, cutting business deals, I am sure even the older generation would be swept away in time .
    Lovely experience!!!!!!!

I have been going here for years and I have always been a big lover of their delicious menu and great atmosphere. I had the chance to go here last week with family for a christmas eve meal and was greeted by the same lively atmosphere as soon as you walk in.

The bar area was busy yet the service was quick and the staff were friendly. When you arrive you are given a little electronic device by the host and it buzzes when your table is ready. We were enjoying a drink in the bar for around half an hour before our table was ready.

We were seated out of the main dining area as there was a supreme tribute act on in the main area that you paid extra for alongside a set meal.

There were three different menus to choose from which wasn't explained to us by our waitress and was rather confusing. We all decided on what we wanted but our waitress had vanished.  We managed to order some drinks with another waiter but couldn't order our food.  Around 20 minutes later we were able to order our food with a third waiter. I don't think anybody really knew what they were doing in all honesty, we were given drinks that were for a different table when we hadn't even ordered yet!

We were sat in the front corner of the restaurant and it was very cold. Behind my chair there was a portable heater pointing into the rest of restaurant but the corner we were in was very chilly. The food came out very quickly and was plentiful however I felt the quality was lacking.  Both my starter and main was very large but not overly flavourful or enjoyable. On my previous visits to bibis portion sizes have always been a lot smaller yet every mouthful of food was always so well made and an absolute delight to eat. I have to say I am unsure why bibis have changed their menu and decided that quantity wins over quality as with me it really doesn't.

During my meal I noticed how loud the main dining area was and there were crouds of people dancings around the restaurant, shouting and generally being rowdy. I couldn't help but notice how bibis was so different to the bibis I had first walked into years ago. The restaurant you could count on for excellent service, amazing food and an all round great night was now a distinctly average restaurant with poor service that catered more so to very loud, large groups of rowdy drunk people.

I think it's such a shame that this place has gone from one extreme to another and hope this is just the terrible decisions of one person. I will not be going back any time soon however I can only hope that they have a rethink and realise that what they had was perfect.

Although I've often wandered past Bibis I've not ever had a decent opportunity to partake of their many offerings, so chance was a fine thing the other week when I was able to pop in for supper. Since it was a week night there wasn't a huge hassle over grabbing a table - my friend and I had a brief wait of fifteen minutes at the bar and poste haste we were whisked away to a table near the huge glass windows.

The waiting staff didn't seem to mind my indecision over their menu, more to the contrary, they were perfectly happy having a bit of fun amongst themselves! We didn't really mind their antics, though I'm not sure it's the done thing to use the trays as faux frisbees (ok, it was only tossed once) - there was a small embarrassing moment when the aforementioned tray landed next to another table of diners but the place was busy enough to mask the noise!

When the waiter was ready we made our order and before I knew it my lovely beef steak, with creamy mushroom sauce, had arrived. We enjoyed a delicious starter of garlic bread pizza, olives and breads too and every item tasted fresh and scrumptious. The steak truly was cooked to perfection and although it didn't come with much accompaniment, I think it was the perfect amount of food.

The overall ambiance of the venue was the only thing that I found particularly lacking. That a restaurant can be so full on a week night (most tables were packed) is an accolade to its popularity for sure, but for me there was a certain vivacity missing from the building. Was it the over polished new-American decor? Was it that the barely audible music was masked by a sea of voices? Was it the over all 'chain' vibe? I'm not sure.

This place is indeed perfect for large groups and the food is definitely excellent - certainly a safe choice of venue for anyone shy of spices too. I will come back, I'm sure, as I didn't sample their famous cocktails but I think for future intimate meals out with a small party I will be likely looking for somewhere a little cosier. Next time there's a big gathering though, it will make the list!

    I love this place!
I have been to eat here more times than i can remember and the food is always really good!
However, it is a shame they took Gambas Pil Pil from the menu as it was a particular favourite of mine.
The drinks are a shade expensive, but the service is flawless and there is always a great atmosphere!
